Welcome to Lakefield Township
Welcome to Lakefield Township located in McMillan, MI. We are situated near the beautiful north shore of Manistique Lake. Our Township has a total area of 72.1 square miles. Located near the Largest Lake Complex in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we feel that our community has a great potential for growth. Currently, we have a lot of great news to share with our community.

New Website
Our new website was recently launched that will make information easily accessed. We will now have an Online Tax Search, a Calendar of Events, Meeting Minutes, along with our Rental Hall information. We encourage community participation with our Township goals so that together we can move forward and look at how we can best serve.

On our home page, you can kept up-to-date with both our Urgent Topic and Township News. Our current Urgent Topic currently involves our road conditions. We are in desperate need of improvements on some of our rural roads so that our community can thrive.
