Welcome to Lakefield Township information regarding our roads and the urgent work that is needed to help give our citizens well maintained conditions to travel on.

Road Improvement Goals
We have been communicating with the Luce County Road Commission about the various road improvements that are necessary to help our community. Our most important improvements needed are the following:

Cutting back brush on the side roads, in which we have to wait until spring to accomplish.
Unfortunately every road in Lakefield Township is in need of some kind of work. Tom has been diligent in working on this project.

Lakefield Township had some real success at our December meeting in which the Luce County Road Commission did send a representative to speak to us about our concerns.

Mr. Mc Tiver let us know that they are aware of the road improvements needed here in Lakefield. The board has been present at their meetings as well to communicate our road concerns.
